An original. We were founded by Mia Moran, who was born a designer. At age 10, she redesigned the covers of her textbooks—all twelve of them. After blazing a trail through Georgetown's School of Business and the Rhode Island School of Design, Mia went to work. Her positions have included Senior Designer at Kohn Cruikshank and at netNumina Solutions. She has freelanced around the world. In May 2001, having envisioned a way to combine her experiences, she opened emtype—where good design is merged with smart technologies. |
